Kolokithokeftedes

After another conversation with our colleague, we learned more about traditional Greek cuisine. Nikolas and experience in such a beautiful country as Greece made us realize that the Greeks serve all the dishes on the table at the same time: snacks, the first and second dishes and dessert. In this way, the meal delights both the palate and the eyes, giving the impression of abundance.

To perform we need:

  • 4 large zucchini
  • 1 dried onion
  • 3-4 balloons
  • 1/2 bunch of mint,
  • 1/2 bunch parsley,
  • 1/2 bunch of dill,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 200 grams feta cheese
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • olive oil

How to make Kolokithokeftedes?

After washing the zucchini, grate it on a grater and place it in a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt and leave for 15 minutes to let go of the juices. Then, manually whige, getting rid of the liquids.

Place the courgetines in a large bowl. Add dill, onion (dried and spring onion), nutmeg and feta. Mix and add eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Add flour by stirring. Form a mass into small pancakes

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, after burning it, start frying the chops. You can get it with tzatziki.
